We currently have a significant demand for carpenters and are seeking approximately 70 individuals to join our team for a variety of exciting projects. With ongoing work projected for the next three years, we offer competitive compensation for the right candidates. About the Role We have multiple immediate openings for carpenters, ranging from large commercial projects to high-end residential work. Successful candidates will need experience in formwork, steel, and concrete for commercial jobs, as well as skills in framing, interior, and exterior cladding for residential tasks. Our projects offer a maximum of 55 hours per week, with a guaranteed 30 hours. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of three years of carpentry experience - Own toolbelt and power tools - Physical fitness and a strong work ethic - A valid Site Safe certification is advantageous, though not essential - Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices Tasks will include: - Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts - Cutting materials, assembling, and nailing cut and shaped parts - Erecting framework, panelized systems, and roof framing, as well as laying sub-flooring and floorboards - Verifying the accuracy of structures - Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding along with door and window frames - Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation - Cutting wood joints Benefits We value our employees and ensure that you are respected, valued, and rewarded for your hard work.
