Description
About the Company
Pacific Tourways Auckland is a proud member of The Tranzit Group, a family-owned and award-winning company that stands as one of the largest transport operators in New Zealand. We provide a diverse range of services across the country, ensuring we meet the needs of our clients and customers.
Our Auckland operation is a busy hub for premium touring coaches, supplying services to operators such as Great Sights and Grand Pacific Tours. We also provide contracted services to the Auckland Explorer Bus and Auckland University of Technology.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an Operations Assistant to join our dynamic operations team. In this full-time position, you will work from our Mangere depot, contributing to the daily processing of tour bookings, liaising with clients to prepare quotes and invoices, and compiling patronage reports for our contracted services. You will also assist with processing timesheets, banking, and reconciliation tasks.
The role requires flexibility in working hours, with Monday to Friday shifts during our low season (May 1st to August 31st) and Tuesday to Saturday shifts during our peak season (September 1st to April 30th).
What We Can Offer
We provide a competitive salary package along with a variety of responsibilities that ensure no two days are the same. While experience in transport or operations is beneficial, it is not essential. We are committed to your career development and growth, offering opportunities to advance within our organization.
Additionally, you will enjoy work perks such as discounts with our Tranzit group of companies and industry partners, as well as allowances. You will be part of a passionate and driven team that shares a love for transport and driving, all within a supportive family-oriented culture.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are computer savvy with exceptional accuracy in their work. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a current, clean full driver's license. A Class 2 or Class 4 license is an advantage.
The ideal candidate will possess strong planning, organization, and time management skills, along with a positive energy and sense of humor. If you are eager to seize this opportunity and be part of our team, please feel free to reach out to Ruth at 0274442582 with any questions about the role, or apply online today.
