Despatch Administrator / Warehouse Storeperson

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Despatch Administrator/Warehouse Storeperson to join our client in East Tamaki. About the Role In this role, you will play a key part in managing the flow of goods and overseeing dispatch operations. If you have experience operating high-reach forklifts and are skilled in warehouse management, we encourage you to apply. This position offers a competitive wage of up to $35 an hour, dependent on experience, with a commitment of 40 hours a week. The role is temporary with the potential to become permanent. You will work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts for stocktake. Our team is dedicated to your success and well-being, ensuring a fair and safe work environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: - Liaising with customers and team members regarding deliveries, delays, and issues - Picking, packing, receiving, labeling, and storing stock - Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy - Operating high-reach forklifts and assisting with stock transfers - Following health and safety guidelines and company procedures - Preparing and processing documentation, including data entry in Excel - Coordinating transport, delivery services, and daily run sheets - Providing administrative support to the wider team Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: - A minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, including picking, packing, stocktake, cycle counts, RF scanning, and operating reach hoist and high-reach forklifts - Valid driver’s, forklift, and reach hoist licenses - Strong numeracy and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy - The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team - Preferred but not essential: AP (Accredited Person) and TFO (Transitional Facility Operator) certificates - Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel; experience with Sage X3 ERP is a bonus Please note that applicants must be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work visa.
