About the Role
BestStart Park Green is a modern, purpose-designed center nestled in the rapidly developing Rosehill, Karaka area. The center is surrounded by green spaces and is conveniently located near local amenities and motorway access, providing a peaceful and spacious setting for both children and educators.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a fully registered teacher with proven leadership experience to work with children aged 2 to 5. As the Head Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the center's culture and philosophy from the ground up. This key leadership position allows you to build strong relationships, influence the direction of the center, and support the ongoing development of your team.
We are looking for a confident, collaborative, and capable leader who shares our values and vision for high-quality early learning. You will lead by example, inspire others, and have a comprehensive understanding of curriculum, planning, and compliance. This is a permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Diploma of Teaching Level 7 in Early Childhood Education (ECE), along with current full or provisional teacher certification
- Leadership experience in an early childhood setting
- A strong understanding of program planning, assessment, and pedagogy
- Excellent knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and delivering high-quality education
