About the Role
We are seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join our vibrant multi-disciplinary community team, primarily located in the Helensville region of the Rodney District. There will also be opportunities to work at our Red Beach office. This role is available for both full-time and part-time candidates.
In our Mental Health Services for Adults, we provide comprehensive community and inpatient services for individuals experiencing serious mental health issues. Our team engages with a diverse population, including Māori, Pacific, and Asian communities in both urban and rural settings.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to teach and supervise psychiatry trainees, house officers, and medical students, as we are an accredited training service with rotating pre-examination and advanced trainees.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must be vocally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate or be eligible to apply. A full and clean driving license is required, along with a commitment to enhancing services and achieving positive outcomes, particularly for Māori communities.
