About the Role
We are currently seeking a Support Worker for a full-time position, requiring 65+ hours per fortnight. This role involves assisting individuals in developing their independence and acquiring essential daily living skills. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the work environment, you may also assist with shopping, cleaning, personal care, and medication administration.
Requirements
No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary; however, a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker and a positive attitude are essential. We provide comprehensive training and orientation for individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Candidates must have:
- Availability for flexible shifts, including day, evening, sleepover, and weekend shifts
- Proficiency in using computers and tablets on a daily basis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
- A Full NZ driver's license

We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.84 to $29.10, depending on relevant qualifications, with opportunities to earn more as you gain additional certifications.
