We are a dedicated team focused on providing quality services in the nursery industry. As we prepare for our upcoming winter season, we are seeking enthusiastic seasonal workers to join our friendly and stable team.
About the Role
We are looking for ten seasonal workers to fill various nursery roles, including Quality Controller, Tally Clerk, Box Packer, and Chiller Worker. The intake date for this position is May 24, 2025, with employment lasting approximately 3.5 months, concluding on September 13, 2025.
The hourly rate for this role is $24.76, plus an additional 8%. The expected working hours are around 40 hours per week, dependent on weather conditions. Our team works five days a week, and we offer a supportive environment, even working on rainy days. We will provide wet weather gear, including boots, raincoats, and gloves, to ensure you are well-equipped for the elements.
Requirements
Candidates must provide their own transportation, preferably a van, as we are located in an area where public transport may not be available. For those who have their own van to sleep in, we offer a free campsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
We require all applicants to possess a high degree of physical fitness, as the role involves working outdoors in winter conditions. It is essential that candidates are drug-free, as we will conduct drug testing on the first day of employment.
Please note that this position is only available to candidates with a valid work visa in New Zealand or New Zealand residents.
