About the Role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team, primarily assisting our Construction Manager, Operations Managers, and Quantity Surveyors in the coordination and administration of various Commercial and Industrial construction projects across Otago and Southland. This role offers the flexibility to be based in either Otago or Southland.
In this position, you will be responsible for both onsite and offsite administration of projects, providing comprehensive support to our site teams.
Requirements

You should be dedicated to achieving successful project outcomes and possess demonstrated problem-solving skills, decision-making capabilities, and assertiveness in promoting the use of standard tools, templates, and practices. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- A formal qualification in Construction, Project Management, Contract Management, or Quantity Surveying is advantageous
- Knowledge of NZA3910, 3915, and 3916 construction contracts would be beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Procore, and Microsoft Project
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound judgment and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A commitment to providing high-level support
- Strong administrative skills
- Experience with Procore project management systems is beneficial
- Familiarity with quality management plans, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Project Handover Plans, is advantageous
