About the Role We are currently seeking kiwifruit pickers to join our team in Opotiki. The picking season will run until the second week of June 2023, and we typically work 8 to 9 hours each day, weather permitting. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to engage in outdoor work in a friendly atmosphere. No prior experience is required for this role, making it a fantastic entry point for those interested in agricultural work. We also offer assistance in finding paid accommodation and transportation to our orchards, ensuring a smooth transition for our employees. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should be physically fit, as the job involves carrying heavy picking bags. Additionally, we require individuals to be at least 5 feet 4 inches tall. A commitment of at least 6 to 8 weeks is essential to ensure a successful picking season. Benefits We offer a competitive contract picking rate that varies from $25 to $30 per bin, depending on the size of the bin.
