About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fitter-Turner-Welder with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in plasma and profile cutting will be considered a valuable asset. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of our high-performance mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Fitter-Turner-Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture and assemble high-precision mechanical components.
- Utilizing MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques for assembly and repairs.
- Performing hydraulic fitting as well as both CNC and conventional machining.
- Conducting general manufacturing tasks, including fitting, keywaying, and welding.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal machinery operation.
- Executing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure specifications and requirements are met.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Fitter/Turner trade qualification.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 manufacturing practices.
- Extensive experience in hydraulics, fitting, machining, and general manufacturing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing workshop.
