About the Role
In the role of Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for managing traffic flow around construction sites, roadworks, and various events. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety of both the public and workers by effectively utilizing signs, cones, and barriers to guide vehicles and pedestrians.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A valid TMO/TTM certification, or a willingness to obtain one
- Reliable transportation to access different sites throughout Wellington
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility with working hours, including early starts and weekend shifts
