We pride ourselves on our energetic and supportive team, all focused on helping tamariki thrive. About the Role We are seeking a passionate Teacher in Training to join our team. If you are currently enrolled in your first year of a Level 7 ECE Bachelor programme and have a love for teaching young children, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will work in our Paua Room (children over 2 years old), where we inspire learning through child-led projects and experiences. We prioritize building strong relationships and support social and emotional competence through the Tuakana Teina model. Our thoughtfully designed preschool spaces encourage creativity and exploration, featuring areas for imaginative play, building and construction, and an array of art activities, including messy play, water play, playdough, and painting. Outdoors, children have access to a large sandpit, fort, climbing equipment, balance beams, and regularly rearranged play spaces that provide variety and adventure. This is a permanent position offering 35 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.
