About the Role We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has the ambition to lead and the drive to create opportunities. In this role, you will maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business and embracing new challenges. You will play a key part in guiding the professional development of our team members while also engaging in hands-on activities. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost plans throughout various design stages, estimating construction costs, analyzing tenders, comparing costs, and providing support for building contract preparations. Requirements To succeed in this position, you will need the following qualifications and skills: - A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification - Solid experience in a senior surveying role within New Zealand - Management or mentoring experience - Familiarity with the New Zealand construction market and its networks - A collaborative working style with a focus on teamwork - Strong commercial acumen and a big-picture mindset - Experience across a variety of project types, including commercial, residential, and industrial - Excellent communication skills, developed through industry networking events and social occasions Benefits We offer an attractive salary package ranging from $160,000 to $195,000, depending on experience, along with additional benefits and bonuses.
