About the Role
We are currently looking for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, operating between Waitakere Hospital and North Shore Hospital. This role is a fixed-term position designed to cover a staff member on parental leave, with an anticipated end date in May 2026.
In this dynamic imaging environment, you will have the opportunity to work in busy ultrasound departments, engaging in a variety of examinations including general, obstetric, paediatric, vascular, and some musculoskeletal cases. Our hospitals are training facilities, allowing you to expand your knowledge and skills while contributing to the education of others in the field.
About You
We are seeking a Sonographer who is enthusiastic about teaching and learning, and who thrives in a collaborative team setting. Candidates must have experience in general and obstetric ultrasound, with vascular experience being a preferred asset.
To qualify, you will need credentials recognized by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
