We are currently looking for a qualified or experienced HVAC electrician to join our reputable and long-standing team in Dunedin.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of various heat pump systems. You will engage in tasks such as refrigerant pipework, electrical wiring, system testing, and commissioning, all while adhering to New Zealand regulations. You will support senior technicians on-site, follow instructions, and ensure that all work meets current compliance standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A current Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) certification in New Zealand
- A minimum of two years' experience as a trade assistant or qualified electrician
- A strong work ethic and the ability to solve problems effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with a diverse range of clients and colleagues
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in workmanship
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A commitment to health and safety protocols, with a clean record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
