About the Role We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician who is hands-on and passionate about fire safety systems. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of fire alarm systems, including installations, maintenance, and repairs. This position is dynamic and requires someone who is adaptable, motivated, and eager to develop new skills. Please note that this position is based in Dunedin, New Zealand, and applicants must be willing to work in this location. Key Responsibilities - Install, test, and inspect fire alarm systems - Investigate and respond to alarm activations - Repair or replace system components as necessary - Perform routine maintenance and corrective services - Program, calibrate, and adjust fire safety systems - Keep accurate records and complete detailed reports - Stay current with industry standards and regulations - Ensure full compliance with safety protocols - Maintain a clean and organized workspace What We’re Looking For - Level 4 Fire Alarm Technician Qualification preferred (we will consider experienced candidates and provide support to gain the necessary qualifications) - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - A proactive approach and willingness to learn - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Valid driver’s license Why Join Us We offer competitive pay and benefits, along with a supportive, safety-focused team culture.
