We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cleaner at a school in Whitianga. About the Role In this role, you will work in a supportive environment, collaborating with a great team of professionals. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you for your cleaning duties, although prior cleaning experience will be considered an advantage. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 3:15 PM to 5:15 PM. Your responsibilities will include a variety of cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, buffing, cleaning restrooms, removing rubbish, polishing furniture, and operating basic electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment. While this role may present physical challenges, we are committed to ensuring you have the necessary training, uniform, and equipment to succeed. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Have your own transport - Communicate effectively in both verbal and written English - Be capable of performing moderate to heavy physical labor - Present yourself well, be proactive, and work independently - Follow instructions accurately - Have a keen eye for detail - Pass Police and Ministry of Justice checks Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
