School Cleaner- Paeroa

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at a school located in Paeroa. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. We offer full training to help you succeed, and while prior cleaning experience is beneficial, it is not required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 2:45 PM to 5:45 PM. Your cleaning duties will include a variety of tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, buffing, cleaning restrooms, removing rubbish, polishing furniture, and the basic operation of cleaning equipment. This role can be physically demanding, but we will ensure you have all the necessary training, uniform, and equipment to perform your job effectively. Requirements - Own transport is essential - Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English - Capability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor - Well-presented, proactive, and able to work independently - Strong ability to follow instructions - Attention to detail - Must be able to pass Police and Ministry of Justice checks Applicants for this position should hold New Zealand residency or possess a valid New Zealand work visa.
