About the Role We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Farm Source store team, specifically at our Culverden location. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dedicated sales specialist who will provide expert farming product advice to our loyal customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including merchandising and customer service. You will also assist with various entry-level administrative duties, such as processing customer orders and invoices, updating product pricing and stock levels in our systems, managing store filing, maintaining accurate records, and supporting end-of-day cash balancing and banking preparation. This fast-paced role promises to keep you engaged and challenged. The working hours for this position will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with rostered Saturdays. About You We are looking for a self-motivated and adaptable team member who excels in customer service and communication. A high level of physical fitness is essential, as the role involves manual handling, including lifting 25kg bags of product regularly. Ideally, you will have some prior experience in customer service or sales, along with a connection to the agricultural industry. However, we welcome candidates transitioning from farming or those with customer service expertise who are eager to learn about the agri-dairy sector. Key qualifications we value include: - Rural experience is beneficial but not essential. - A good level of physical fitness to meet daily demands. - A clean driver’s license. - A valid forklift license or a willingness to obtain one.
