Health and Safety Trainer - Contract

About the Role We are currently seeking contract Health & Safety Trainers to join our team in Christchurch and the surrounding areas. This role will support our training programs during busy and unpredictable months. If you have experience delivering courses in MEWP, Working at Heights, and Confined Spaces, we would be delighted to have you on board. In this position, you will primarily support training at our Christchurch site. We are particularly interested in trainers who are willing to travel to provide on-site training at client workplaces across the region, including areas such as Rolleston, Rangiora, and beyond. While this is a contract role that we need to fill urgently, there is potential for longer-term opportunities. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - Proven experience in Health & Safety training - Availability at short notice - Completed or be working towards the NZQA assessment qualification - US4098 - A background in a formal trade, construction, manufacturing, armed, or emergency services, which would be advantageous - Experience in training and teaching, particularly in Hazardous substances, low-level scaffolding, Confined Space, MEWP, and Working at Heights - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English - A passion for training and sharing your knowledge and skills One of our core organizational values, Whanaungatanga, emphasizes the importance of collective collaboration among individuals within our organization.
