Senior Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is ready to elevate their career. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work with a dynamic team within an established Quantity Surveying consultancy that has a strong presence in the market. You will be involved in a variety of projects throughout Auckland and wider New Zealand, all while maintaining a professional yet enjoyable work environment. In this role, you will manage existing client relationships and actively seek opportunities for new business. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing team members, while remaining hands-on with daily tasks. These tasks will include preparing detailed cost plans, construction cost estimates, tender analysis, cost comparisons, and supporting the preparation of building contracts. Requirements To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. - Solid experience in a senior surveying role within New Zealand. - Management and mentoring experience. - Familiarity with the New Zealand construction market and established networks. - A collaborative working style that promotes teamwork. - A commercially savvy mindset with an ability to see the big picture. - Exposure to a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial. - Excellent communication skills, developed through industry networking and social events. Benefits We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $160,000 to $195,000, depending on experience, along with additional benefits and bonuses.
