About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Drainlaying professional to join our client's well-established construction team in the greater Otago region. Our client has a longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality construction products and services across the South Island. They are committed to providing timely and budget-friendly solutions for a diverse range of construction projects, from small residential tasks to large-scale infrastructure developments.
In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of civil drainage work, including stormwater and water main infrastructure projects, as well as residential and commercial drainlaying. We are particularly interested in candidates who are eager to advance their skills and gain qualifications in this essential trade.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in drainlaying
- Full Class 2 driver's license
- Current WTR endorsements, along with excavator experience
- A pre-trade qualification in plumbing and drainage would be highly advantageous
- A reliable team player who is willing to engage fully in their work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Full working rights to operate in New Zealand (please note that sponsorship is not available)
