About the Role We are currently seeking candidates for a varied civil construction role with our client, a well-established company known for delivering quality construction products and services throughout the South Island. This organization has a strong commitment to providing timely and budget-friendly solutions for a wide range of construction projects, from simple tasks to complex undertakings. The position is based in Dunedin, with work extending throughout the greater Otago region. Our client offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for career development and upskilling. In this role, you will be involved in various civil construction tasks, including building timber retaining walls and performing general road preparation work. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A full Class 1 driver’s license - Current WTR endorsements are beneficial but not essential - Pre-trade qualification in Construction or Carpentry is highly advantageous - A reliable, team-oriented individual willing to engage in hands-on work - A strong focus on safety and quality - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Full working rights in New Zealand (please note that sponsorship is not available) Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate, which will be discussed during the interview process, with weekly payments. Additionally, there are opportunities for plenty of overtime, typically ranging from 40 to 50 hours per week.
