About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Gardener to join our supportive team in a full-time capacity, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team tasked with maintaining our beautiful gardens in a resort-style setting, creating an enjoyable environment for our residents, their families, and our staff.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the maintenance of the grounds and gardens to ensure an appealing aesthetic and the safety of all outdoor areas. You will appreciate the variety of tasks involved, which may include managing a bowling green, water features, and both residential and shared spaces. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with and support your team and colleagues.
About You
To thrive in our nurturing and supportive environment, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in a Gardener or Landscaper role
- Proven ability to lead a motivated and productive team
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication abilities
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Horticultural qualifications are preferred
