    Description

Please Quote Reference Number 14356 About the Company Launch Agent is a product studio based in Parnell, Auckland. We specialize in building and growing consumer and prosumer SaaS products that are utilized by millions globally. Our notable projects include PredictWind.com, DeathToStock.com, Thieve.co, and Saasco.com. While New Zealand boasts many excellent SaaS companies, few focus on creating products for vast, international audiences. At Launch Agent, we occupy a unique space where growth, design, and storytelling converge, making it an exciting environment for innovation. We adopt a long-term perspective, thinking in years rather than quarters. Our team combines a forward-thinking mindset with a strong inclination for action, allowing us to learn quickly, ship frequently, and develop growth systems that yield compounding results over time. We are deeply invested in the products we create, and this is an opportune moment to join our team and help shape our future trajectory as we enter the next phase of growth. We are committed to fostering a culture that values people, promotes open collaboration, and encourages enjoyment in our work. If you are curious, collaborative, and motivated to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to join us. About the Role As our Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of data, product, and growth. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the systems that help us understand our performance, identify areas for improvement, and determine our focus moving forward. You will take ownership of our marketing analytics infrastructure, ensuring that every click, signup, and revenue dollar is accurately tracked and attributed. Your insights will help us address critical questions, such as how to allocate revenue between Meta and Google, the performance of recent feature launches, and the intriguing user demographics in locations like Boardman, Oregon. Your role will involve designing, building, and maintaining marketing analytics systems that deliver clear, actionable insights across all channels. You will collaborate closely with the engineering and growth teams to transform data into informed decisions, while championing accuracy, clarity, and scalability in all reporting and experimentation frameworks. What You'll Do - Own, maintain, and validate integrations across product and marketing analytics, writing or reviewing code as necessary to ensure reliable and accurate data flow. - Enhance experimentation and insights by improving data capture, clarifying event definitions, and maintaining Lexicon documentation. - Set up and optimize ad tracking and attribution to maximize ROI and campaign visibility. - Build and maintain unified revenue and marketing reporting, establishing a comprehensive source of truth for acquisition and monetization performance. - Advocate for data quality, scalability, and usability to ensure that growth decisions are based on solid evidence. - Adapt analytics and tracking systems to accommodate platform and privacy changes, keeping pace with evolving ad APIs and industry requirements. What You Need - Familiarity with the modern SaaS marketing analytics stack (preferably Segment, Mixpanel, GA4, AppsFlyer, RevenueCat, Stripe). - Ability to write or review code (preferably in PHP, JavaScript, Python) to instrument events, validate data, and address tracking issues at the source. - A strong focus on data accuracy, clarity, and reliability. - Enthusiasm for making growth measurable and actionable. - An interest in staying ahead of privacy and platform changes. Nice-to-Haves - Experience implementing analytics and attribution systems for consumer SaaS products. - Familiarity with event-based experimentation frameworks and attribution concepts. - Understanding of analytics in a SaaS or subscription business context. Why Join Us By joining our small, high-performing team, your contributions will directly influence products used by millions. We embrace a hybrid work model, with two days a week spent in our Parnell office (or more if you prefer), and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. Our team has expanded to 10 members this year, creating a significant opportunity for you to make meaningful contributions to Launch Agent's next phase. We prioritize speed, thoughtful experimentation, and high-impact work while maintaining a collaborative and enjoyable workplace. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at plats@launchagent.co.nz. Please Quote Reference Number 14356
