About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent rotational/foundation clinical pharmacist to join our team. This position, comprising 40 hours per week, is ideal for a newly qualified pharmacist. In this role, you will engage in both ward-based clinical activities and dispensary functions, supported by a team of dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Your responsibilities will include participating in ward rounds, conducting medicines reconciliation, providing discharge counselling, and delivering dispensary services. You will also focus on promoting the safe and effective use of medicines. Clinical opportunities may arise in various areas, including medical, surgical, and orthopaedics. You will be expected to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring optimal medication utilization.

About You
To be considered for this position, you should be a qualified pharmacist with at least one year of experience, preferably in a hospital setting. You must hold a valid New Zealand APC in good standing. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy collaborating with healthcare professionals. Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn and develop your clinical knowledge within a supportive pharmacy team.
