We are currently seeking a talented HVAC technician to join our team in Central Dunedin. About the Role In this role, you will become a valuable member of a small HVAC crew. Our client is looking for someone who is either trade qualified or has substantial experience in the HVAC field. The normal working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are pleased to offer long-term work with a well-known Dunedin-based company. This position includes a mix of residential and commercial work, ensuring a varied workload. The compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $38 per hour, with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. Additionally, you will receive ongoing support from the Tradestaff team, along with KiwiSaver, 8% holiday pay, and sick pay after six months of employment. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements: - Proven experience in HVAC fabrication or installation - Competence in stainless steel welding, ducting assembly, or mechanical ventilation systems - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Strong focus on health and safety, with awareness of site protocols and safe work practices - Good time management skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines and manage tasks efficiently - Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment - Commitment to high-quality workmanship and attention to detail - At least two reliable references If you have experience in the Mechanical or HVAC industry, we encourage you to apply online or contact us at Tradestaff Dunedin at 0508 404040 as soon as possible.
