OSCAR Casual Program Assistant - Darfield

Successful candidates will need to have reliable transportation to work at our sKids Oxford Crescent site. About the Company: sKids was founded in 1996 by two parents who aimed to create a structured out-of-school care service for primary-aged children. Today, we proudly serve as New Zealand’s preferred children's hangout, welcoming over 3,800 tamariki each day at more than 170 school locations. Working with us allows you to connect with your inner child, as we prioritize fun in everything we do. Our activities include day trips, cooking, arts and crafts, science, sports, and much more. About the Role: As a casual staff member, you will supervise and assist children during program activities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the environment is clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe for children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times. You will assist the Programme Manager in running the daily schedule as outlined in the task list and report any concerns regarding a child or behavioral issues to the Programme Manager. Hours of Work: This is a casual employment role with hours from Monday to Friday. If selected, you will be rostered on an "as required" basis, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum hours.
