About the Role
We are excited to offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for three Catering Assistants to join our team at the Dunedin Airport Operations in partnership with Air New Zealand. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional lounge experience, ensuring our service culture translates into memorable "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers.
Your Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional customer service and creating a warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
- Performing basic food preparation and presentation.
- Managing stock control effectively.
- Assisting with general cleaning and maintaining food hygiene standards.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is hardworking and possesses a friendly, outgoing personality. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar environment and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be willing to obtain one. Barista experience would be advantageous. Your superior customer service skills and passion for great food and quality service will set you apart as the ideal candidate.
