About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Lounge Manager to lead the Qantas Lounge at Wellington International Airport. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of lounge operations, including team leadership, customer experience, compliance, and financial performance. Your goal will be to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless, world-class experience.
Your Responsibilities
You will drive operational excellence by managing budgets, stock control, and cost efficiencies. Leading, coaching, and developing a passionate team will be essential to delivering outstanding hospitality. You will maintain the highest standards of food safety, health, and compliance, while building strong client relationships and exceeding customer expectations. Additionally, you will plan and execute catering for events and functions within the lounge.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in high-end hospitality or catering environments, such as luxury hotels, restaurants, wineries, or upscale dining establishments. You should possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and key performance indicators. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are necessary, along with in-depth knowledge of health, safety, and food safety principles. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
