We are excited to announce the opening of a new store in Remarkables Park, Queenstown, and we are seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to join our team. About the Role As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all store operations. This role includes driving sales and achieving key performance indicators, managing stocktake and inventory, and ensuring a high standard of customer service for a diverse clientele. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining health and safety compliance and handling various HR functions, including performance reviews, management, terminations, and recruitment. What’s in it for You? We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000, depending on experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus based on store sales targets. We value work-life balance and emphasize a positive work environment with no late-night shifts. About You We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in leading teams. A background or passion for Home, DIY, or Trade is ideal. Your people management skills should be exceptional, as you will be focused on developing, mentoring, and coaching your team to achieve success. A strong sales acumen and a passion for building relationships are essential. You should possess a solid understanding of retail operations and have a collaborative, proactive mindset.
