As we continue to grow in the Marlborough and Tasman regions, we are looking for a new Client Services Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The Client Services Manager (CSM) will have overall responsibility for delivering services to our clients while ensuring we meet our contractual obligations. In this mixed role, the CSM will support coordinators with rostering and scheduling, follow up with support workers on shift, and manage incidents and accidents. Additionally, the CSM will assist our audit team in meeting contract requirements and be the local representative for funders and other community agencies.
A key aspect of this role involves supporting our most complex clients, ensuring they are safe and receiving the assistance they need. The CSM will also play a vital role in our Flexible Support Service, conducting initial client visits with individuals with disabilities. This team is dedicated to empowering disabled people and their families, allowing them to have a greater say in the type of care they receive and how it is delivered, in accordance with the ministry's purchasing guidelines and the principles of enabling good lives.
On a day-to-day basis, the CSM may visit funders, follow up after incidents, meet with clients, complete new plans with clients, answer calls, and assist individuals in determining whether purchases, such as scooters, swimming lessons, or artwork, will effectively support their goals and fit within established guidelines.
This position is based in our Blenheim office and involves close collaboration with coordinators located in Blenheim and Christchurch. You will also receive ongoing support from our Canterbury-based CSM and Senior Coordinator.
