About the Role
We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our dynamic and dedicated team at Wairarapa Hospital, specifically within our Acute Services department. This is a fast-paced environment that caters to individuals in the acute phase of illness and injury. We have permanent part-time positions available, with shifts scheduled on a rotating basis. While prior experience as a Healthcare Assistant is beneficial, we are willing to provide training for successful applicants to meet the requirements of a hospital setting.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical hospital environment. You will be expected to work under the guidance and delegation of a Registered Nurse. Strong communication skills are essential, as effective interactions with staff, patients, and their whānau are crucial for success in this position.
Candidates must also be physically fit and emotionally mature to handle the demands of the department. It is imperative that you demonstrate the ability to provide care with empathy and a patient-centered approach.
