About the Company We are a busy supermarket located in Christchurch, dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service. Our Bakery team plays a crucial role in delivering fresh and delicious baked goods, and we are currently seeking a qualified baker to join us. About the Role In this position, you will collaborate with our Bakery team to produce a range of baked goods. We are looking for someone who possesses a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) qualification in Bakery and has prior experience working as a baker in a supermarket setting. While we will provide full training, we expect our team members to demonstrate a strong commitment to their work and uphold good work ethics. Please note that this role involves some heavy lifting. Key Attributes - Qualified Baker - Excellent customer service skills - Reliability and honesty - Ability to thrive in a busy work environment Duties Include - Production of doughs - Product preparation - Bread making, including traying up and baking off - Performing other varied duties as required - Ensuring products meet the high standards set by Riccarton PAK'nSAVE - Adhering to all Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations Hours This is a full-time position, with early morning starts likely beginning at 1:30 AM. The specific days and hours will be discussed with the successful applicant. This role is ideal for someone who can work effectively both in a team and independently at times.
