About the Role We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping clients live independently in their homes and communities. You will assist them in achieving their goals and reaching their full potential by providing both practical and emotional support, in accordance with personalized care plans. Your responsibilities may include: - Meal preparation - Community outings and integration - Medication supervision - Personal care (such as showering and toileting) - Home management Requirements We are looking for candidates who: - Are available to work weekends - Have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others - Strive for excellence in their work - Have previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required) - Possess strong communication skills - Hold healthcare qualifications (a plus) - Have a full NZ driver's license and reliable transportation (most positions require this) Benefits At HealthCare NZ, we value our employees and are committed to providing ongoing training and career development opportunities, fully funded through our NZQA qualifications.
