We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for our mechanics, enabling them to thrive in their roles. About the Role We are currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position offers a structured workweek and is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys hands-on work while benefiting from the guidance of an experienced support network. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting routine servicing and minor repairs to ensure our fleet is always ready for daily operations. - Diagnosing and repairing faults across a diverse fleet of urban buses. - Collaborating with external service providers to manage maintenance and repairs as necessary. - Carrying out small fault repairs and general servicing. Requirements To succeed in this position, we are looking for: - A skilled and qualified Diesel Mechanic who can work independently while also being part of a larger support network. - Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills. - A team player who can effectively coordinate with external service providers and internal support teams. - The ability to manage third-party service providers independently. - A full New Zealand driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
