About the Role
We are seeking an energetic HIAB Driver to join our CARTERS Christchurch Manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in servicing your local community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently loading and delivering products to residential and commercial construction sites, ensuring timely service.
- Unloading product deliveries on-site while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service in the field and at the branch.
- Primarily focusing on Line Haul with multiple overnight deliveries each week.
- Managing deliveries that include frames, trusses, midfloor cassettes, standing frames, and other customer requirements as needed.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills, experience, and values:
- A team player with a positive attitude. You enjoy being on the road and are always willing to assist your colleagues.
- A natural ability to build trust and rapport with customers, making you a genuine people person.
- Physical fitness to handle occasional heavy lifting.
- A Class 5 license with HIAB experience.
