About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Christchurch and take charge of the delivery of commercial construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of project delivery, including program management, budget oversight, team leadership, safety protocols, quality assurance, and client relationships. Key responsibilities include: - Delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining a commitment to safety - Leading Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and project teams with clarity and purpose - Effectively managing subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations - Overseeing forecasting, reporting, and achieving commercial outcomes - Mentoring team members to enhance overall project performance Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have: - A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial building - A strong ability to manage financial outcomes alongside project schedules - Excellent communication skills, characterized by a calm, direct, and credible approach - A preference for structured, well-organized environments - A readiness to start 2026 with energy and momentum, rather than burnout - A Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) designation is preferred, but a proven track record in delivery is more important Benefits Joining our team offers a unique blend of stability and challenge.
