Project Manager – Civil Structures Gisborne - Hawkes Bay Permanent - Starting January - Market-leading salary About the Company We are collaborating with a well-established civil construction contractor to find an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Civil Structures team. This role, based in Gisborne, will focus on delivering significant infrastructure projects across the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast regions. About the Role In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Major bridge construction - Pump stations and treatment plants - Complex structural and civil works in regional and remote locations This is a hands-on leadership position where your technical expertise, commercial acumen, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders will be essential for success. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for: - Leading full project delivery from planning through to completion - Managing programmes, budgets, risk, and commercial outcomes - Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and consultants - Ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards - Building strong relationships with clients, councils, and key stakeholders - Mentoring and developing project and site teams What We’re Looking For We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: - A strong background in large, complex structural works, preferably with bridges - Proven experience managing projects of significant scale and complexity - Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills - The ability to work effectively in regional and remote locations - Relevant civil engineering or construction qualifications What’s On Offer In return for your expertise, we offer: - A competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000, depending on experience - A company vehicle - Medical insurance - KiwiSaver contributions - A long-term, secure pipeline of interesting civil infrastructure projects - Genuine opportunities for career development and progression - A supportive leadership team with a strong reputation in the industry - The chance to live and work in the beautiful East Coast region Why Apply?
