About the Role We are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our Technology team at our Corporate Office in Christchurch. This is a full-time position that reports directly to our Service Delivery Manager. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing prompt and professional support while ensuring that our technology systems operate at their best. Duties and Responsibilities As a Service Desk Analyst, your responsibilities will include: - Providing first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, network, and application-related issues. - Managing desktop and mobile device hardware, operating systems, and applications. - Offering fleet and device management, including rolling out upgrades and implementing protection measures such as antivirus software. - Delivering level 1 and 2 technical support, and occasionally level 3 support, to ANZCO end-users, responding to IT incidents and service requests. - Retaining ownership of issues from start to finish, tracking, reporting, and ensuring timely resolution. - Serving as a single point of contact for all technology queries within the ANZCO business, providing advice, troubleshooting assistance, and facilitating the quick restoration of normal technology services. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience: - Proven empathy and communication skills essential for a front-line service desk environment. - Technical expertise in providing front-line support for end-user issues in a Microsoft desktop environment. - A coherent understanding of common software applications and technology infrastructure. - A demonstrable track record of collaboration with colleagues and third parties to deliver high-quality service to end users. - Strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-oriented approach, and effective active listening skills to identify issues. - Flexibility to participate in a shift roster to ensure appropriate coverage.
