About the Role We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with expertise in 3900 series construction contracts to lead strategic procurement within our Development and Property categories. Reporting directly to our GM of Procurement, you will manage the full commercial lifecycle for a diverse portfolio that encompasses building materials, refurbishment programs, maintenance services, warehousing support, and property-related procurement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop procurement plans that align with our strategic business needs. You will lead complex tendering activities, negotiate supplier agreements, and ensure that all contracts are commercially sound and aligned with Ryman's long-term objectives. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing procurement category plans that align with our business strategy. - Leading complex sourcing initiatives and end-to-end tender processes for both construction and property refurbishment programs (experience with 3900 contracts is essential). - Managing a small team of Procurement Business Partners to support our Development and Property function. - Providing strategic guidance on procurement-related matters to business leaders and departments, serving as a trusted advisor on procurement processes and best practices. - Monitoring and reporting on procurement performance metrics to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Driving process improvements to enhance procurement functions and increase overall efficiency. Requirements We seek a candidate with a strong track record in procurement leadership, particularly in the areas of development, property, or construction. The ideal candidate will have: - Experience with 3900 series construction agreements. - A commercial mindset with the ability to manage supplier relationships that drive value, cost efficiency, and quality. - Proven experience leading end-to-end sourcing and tender processes, including negotiating commercially robust supplier agreements. - A passion for delivering results and a commitment to excellence. - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. - Strong communication skills that are clear, effective, and impactful. - A belief in the value of building strong, positive, and trusting teams that work collaboratively.
