About the Company
We are a prestigious global engineering company, recognized for producing high-quality, specialized machinery and equipment. Our large workshop located in Hamilton is equipped with modern facilities, and we are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder to join our dedicated fabrication team.
About the Role
In this diverse role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating intricate stainless steel parts, ranging from 1.5mm to 2mm, based on detailed drawings. We are looking for candidates with strong TIG welding skills across multiple positions and, ideally, experience in purge welding.
While formal qualifications are not mandatory, possession of relevant welding tickets is favorable. We value a consistent history of working with stainless steel, particularly in sectors such as food and dairy, HVAC, and hospitality equipment.
Please note that we are an immigration-accredited employer; however, candidates must currently reside in New Zealand to be considered for this position.
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel
- Fabrication skills with the ability to read and interpret drawings
- Experience with precise, bespoke projects
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
