    About the Company We are partnering with a busy mechanical assembly workshop that offers a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Our client is dedicated to providing quality service and products and is looking to expand their team. About the Role We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join the workshop team. In this role, you will assist in assembling small trailers and addressing any paint defects. Full training will be provided, and there will be opportunities to upskill in various areas, enhancing your professional development. Your primary duties will include mechanical assembly of trailers, assembling sub-assemblies primarily using bolts, and operating hand and/or power tools. You may also assist with fixing paint defects on horse floats and perform general laboring duties around the workshop. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Middleton. The starting rate for this position is $25.00 per hour plus 8% holiday pay. Requirements The ideal candidate will need to meet the following criteria: - Capability for repetitive heavy lifting of up to 25 kg - An interest in mechanical assembly - Reliable transportation - Availability for an immediate start with long-term commitment Benefits Joining our busy workshop means you will: - Engage in assembling trailers and components, utilizing your mechanical skills and power tools - Enjoy stable, long-term employment with consistent full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for growth within the business - Gain valuable experience across multiple tasks in the workshop, with training opportunities in areas such as forklift operation and paint correction If you are interested in this role, please apply online now, or feel free to contact Danielle at OneStaff at 033773992 for a confidential discussion.
