About the Role
We are seeking a skilled individual to operate our vehicles and equipment in line with provided training, instructions, and company regulations. In this role, you will perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicles and equipment as required.
You will be responsible for operating computerized systems and other work-related systems while handling the loading and unloading of various waste materials in accordance with company and client specifications. Additionally, you will undertake the servicing, delivery, and processing of waste as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a Class 5 NZ License and have moderate experience driving heavy vehicles. We value individuals who can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. A mechanical aptitude is essential, and prior knowledge or experience in the waste industry is desirable.
Benefits
We offer an hourly rate of $34.98 and the work location is based at 301 Marsh's Road, Christchurch. The role is permanent full-time, requiring 48.10 hours per week, with shifts rostered between 4:30 AM and 11:00 PM from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.
