About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Equipment Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team at the Rotorua Branch. This is an exciting opportunity as we have recently been appointed the New Zealand importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off-road industrial machinery. In this role, you will leverage your diagnostic and mechanical skills to service, maintain, and repair a diverse range of heavy machinery, primarily within the forestry and construction sectors. We are looking for a mechanical trades professional who is committed to delivering quality, efficient, and accurate service and maintenance outcomes. Requirements To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following: - A strong commitment to Health and Safety, which is our top priority at CablePrice. - A Heavy Diesel and/or relevant Automotive Qualification. - Prior experience with Tigercat equipment is advantageous. - Strong mechanical capability and technical skills, particularly in diagnosing faults and servicing heavy commercial vehicles. - Excellent diagnostic abilities paired with analytical thinking to effectively navigate complex issues. - Confidence in your computer literacy, along with a customer-focused mindset. - A 'can do' attitude that reflects resilience and reliability, much like the machinery we work with.
