About the Role
We are currently seeking an organized and experienced Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity and accuracy of all inventory within our 3PL warehousing environment. Supporting our contract bottling, canning, and temperature-sensitive FMCG operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, facilitating efficient stock movement, and ensuring seamless fulfillment processes. Your contributions will support both production and outbound logistics, with an emphasis on compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement in inventory controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring inbound and outbound stock to ensure real-time inventory accuracy
- Conducting cycle counts and full stocktakes
- Maintaining records through our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and scanning systems
- Investigating variances and reporting findings
- Supporting FMCG and e-commerce order fulfillment
- Coordinating with production and warehouse teams for timely dispatch
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and storage standards, including for temperature-sensitive goods
- Maintaining an efficient and clean warehouse layout
- Training team members in inventory procedures and safe material handling
- Reporting on customer KPIs and warehouse performance metrics
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate:
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse coordination
- Familiarity with WMS platforms and scanning systems
- Exposure to FMCG or e-commerce environments is highly regarded
- NZ Certificate in Distribution (Level 3) or relevant experience preferred
- Competence in Excel and/or BI reporting tools
- Physical fitness to assist with manual handling tasks
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
- A solid attendance and reliability record
- A safety-conscious attitude with a team-first mentality
- Willingness to undergo Criminal History checks as part of the employment process
