About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior System Integration Developer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Christchurch location. This role follows our recent ERP implementation (Oracle) and other system upgrades. The Senior System Integration Developer will support a range of YOBD system interfaces, including Oracle EBS applications, as well as warehouse and logistics management, finance, sales, and quality management systems.
Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will provide technical support, conduct investigations, and analyze our business operations with a focus on systems integration and processes. You will also be responsible for daily monitoring and reconciliation of over 40 YOBD interfaces to ensure the effectiveness of our systems and overall business operations. Additionally, you will provide technical support for complex enterprise projects and mentor less experienced developers and engineers, adhering to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for over 40 Westland system interfaces, including Oracle EBS, Manhattan SCALE, and MultiPick.
- Resolve interface issues daily and recode system interfaces as needed to enhance performance according to business requirements.
- Optimize the performance of Oracle EBS applications by tuning SQL queries and improving system configurations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and developments.
- Collaborate with business analysts and system integration engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and develop new interfaces as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical challenges.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EBS or Manhattan warehouse management system integrations within a complex software environment.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology or software engineering.
- Significant experience implementing ERP systems and warehouse management systems/modules/interfaces, with proficiency in Oracle EBS, Manhattan SCALE, and MultiPick.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with excellent written and oral communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large and medium-sized ERP projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Experience with Oracle middleware products and proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, JavaScript, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL, and ETL.
- Proficiency in integrating Oracle EBS with other systems using APIs, Web Services, and other integration tools.
- Familiarity with workflow design and coding, and the ability to train and mentor junior ERP team members.
- Previous experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or finance within the dairy industry is advantageous.
