About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for multiple Process Worker positions for our upcoming 2025 - 2026 season, with roles starting in October. While relevant experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory, as we will provide comprehensive training. These roles will involve both day and night shifts, and candidates must be available to work on weekends.
Positions are full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week, ensuring a base salary of at least $705.00 per week. Opportunities to earn more are available through additional allowances and piece rates. Please note that working hours may fluctuate above 30 hours in response to seasonal workflows and annual shut-down periods.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing yard duties and handling livestock
- Processing meat carcasses according to customer specifications
- Safely separating organs and glands from carcasses using proper knife handling techniques
- Operating machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or products
- Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers
- Loading meat products into trucks
- Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and areas
