About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated educator to join our over 2's classroom (Pukeko), working with children aged 2 to 5 years. In this role, you will support children's growth through play-based learning, foster strong relationships, and contribute to a nurturing environment. You will collaborate with an experienced team to create an enriching space where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. This is a permanent position offering 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the potential to extend to full-time in the future.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Teaching Level 7 (ECE) along with current Teacher Certification. A strong knowledge of child-led curriculum, planning, and Te Whāriki is essential, as well as an understanding of ECE regulations and a commitment to compliance. We also seek individuals who are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their pedagogical practice. Experience in supporting diverse learners with varying needs is crucial, and a passion for teaching and delivering quality experiences for children is a must.
