About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Head of Business Development & Marketing to lead our national business development and marketing function. In this high-impact role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our firm by bringing your vision, energy, and strategic leadership to our initiatives. As the Head of Business Development & Marketing, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with our Board and Partners. You will lead a talented team and drive firm-wide initiatives that elevate our market presence, enhance client experiences, and support our strategic growth objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass brand strategy, digital engagement, client experience, and sector positioning. What You Will Be Doing - Leading the development and execution of national business development and marketing strategies that align with the firm's goals. - Mentoring and guiding a high-performing team across various functions, including communications, digital marketing, events, and client development. - Influencing senior stakeholders and fostering a culture of business development throughout the firm. - Advising the CEO, Board, and Partners on market trends, reputational opportunities, and strategic positioning. - Supporting Partners with client engagement programs, including feedback mechanisms, training, and relationship management. - Overseeing tenders, proposals, and prospecting efforts, with a focus on growth and innovation. - Managing budgets, external suppliers, and firm-wide communications with a strong commercial acumen. - Representing the firm at key industry events, conferences, and webinars. Who You Are - A seasoned leader with extensive experience in business development and marketing within professional services, preferably in the legal sector. - A strategic thinker and confident influencer, capable of engaging and aligning senior stakeholders. - A people-focused leader who empowers and builds high-performing teams. - Commercially astute, digitally fluent, and passionate about innovative practices. - Experienced in managing complex projects and fostering cross-functional collaboration. - Digitally savvy, with a strong professional network and a drive for innovation.
